# Sorry for the trouble - Some guidance is needed in the initial stages of contribution

I have just started on Elastic Search 1 week ago. I am very much eager to starting contributing to the number of issues in regards to Elastic Search. After initial setup on my local machine to contribute productively I believe some guidance is needed in the initial stages. Appreciate if anyone can please give me some pointers.
