# Sort events in kibana by original dates

hello there ....  
im new with kibana i want to sort event's by original dates can u guide me how to do that ??

i need want the time column shows the today date

Hey @evilcode1, I'm glad that you were able to solve your issue. For others who come across this topic, if you add the specific field:

You can then use it's "header" to sort by it:
