# Source of authentication

How do i know from where i am getting these authentication request? How do i found source ?

[2020-05-29T12:11:33,366][INFO][o.e.x.s.a.AuthenticationService] [xxxxx-xxxxhostname] Authentication of [elastic] was terminated by realm [reserved] - failed to authenticate user [elastic]

You can enable [audit logging](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/enable-audit-logging.html)
