# Sql last value can only store timestamp?

Hello,

Can anyone help me in this?  
can sql last value stores only timestamp?  
I am trying to use one number column using jdbc plugin and comparing it with sql last value.  
I am getting an error, SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00904: "SQL\_LAST\_VALUE": invalid identifier.

No. [tracking\_column\_type](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/plugins-inputs-jdbc.html#plugins-inputs-jdbc-tracking_column_type) can be either timestamp or numeric.
