# Standalone license model

Dear All,

I want to understand enterprise version license model. if i have 3 \* ES nodes , 3 \* Logstash nodes and 2 \* kibana nodes . Then how many number of elasticstack single node standalone license requrired? 3 or 8?

In general for the commercial features and support Elasticsearch requires / counts licenses for Production Self Managed instances

Master Eligible Nodes  
Data Nodes  
Machine Learning Nodes

Licenses not counted / required  
Kibana  
Logstash  
Coordinating Node Only  
Ingest Node Only  
APM Server

So in your case 3
