# Starting a new thread via email

I can no longer create a new thread using the email address defined here: [Email-Only Interaction with the Forums](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/email-only-interaction-with-the-forums/106)
In addition, will any of the email issues discussed over a year ago ever be fixed? I miss the old mailing list. Far better.
