# Status alerting

I am trying to create alerts where I want to check if a value of a field stays the same for lets say a minute.  
Right now I am able to check the number of pods that are pending in the last minute, using document count and it gives me the result.  
My idea is to receive an alert only when the pod stays down for a duration of one minute, I am not able to create one. I want to monitor the status for that duration  
Could you please help.
