Hello, I'm using metricbeat on linux and I want to visualize in kibana some service status like: **Tomcat --- running** etc. I can see there is default visualization for windows services. Can I do that for Linux services?

Hi @Deny7,

sounds like the ["service" metricset](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/metricbeat/current/metricbeat-metricset-system-service.html) of the "system" metricbeat module could match your use case. It also ships with an example dashboard that you could use directly or learn from to create a custom dashboard.
