# Still getting emails from sub forums

Might be similar to [Getting mail from all topics just not the ones I'm following](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/getting-mail-from-all-topics-just-not-the-ones-im-following/84900)

I set the #beats:metricbeat to `normal`:

But I'm still getting email notifications:

Changing the category level will not automatically unwatch stuff.

If you use the UI in [https://discuss.elastic.co/my/preferences/categories](https://discuss.elastic.co/my/preferences/categories) to add, save and then remove, you will be prompted with a notice that will allow you to stop watching existing.
