# Sudden High CPU with GC

Hi Team  
Please refer to the screenshot and we observe high CPU spikes with the GC. Please help us resolve this.  
ELS v 7.5.2  
RAM: Total 32 GB, 16GB allocated to ES

It's a 7 node cluster

That overall looks good. I do not see any problem that needs resolving.

Thank you @Christian_Dahlqvist for the response, but our customer isn't happy as this behavior regularly generates high CPU alerts. So you idea is we can ignore it safely right?

7.5 is [EOL](https://www.elastic.co/support/eol), please upgrade.
