# Suggestion for \_source field documentation

Warning section at [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/mapping-source-field.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/mapping-source-field.html) should mention that removing `_source` makes it impossible to see document in Kibana, you can search for it though.

A lot of people seek how to reduce an index size, and removing \_source is a way to go, but how it affected Kibana was a surprise for me. It's obvious now when I know it 🙂
