Hi there! Just wondering if in the near future there will be support for using environment variables in Kibana's configuration file. Will definitely come very handy since I have to set up different locations for PID file, logs, and data, and specifying the whole path every time is time consuming. Thanks! ---

hi @zpraxis, It's not possible right now, but it's an outstanding request: [https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/6688](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/6688). I don't think it's being scheduled for the short term though. ---
