# Support for mongoose version \> 5.7

when will support be added for mongoose version \> 5.7 as some random mongoose spans are missing (especially find spans). Any alternative solution if support will not be added?

A while back I'd started looking into this: [feat, docs: support mongoose \>=5.7.0 \<7 by trentm · Pull Request #2547 · elastic/apm-agent-nodejs · GitHub](https://github.com/elastic/apm-agent-nodejs/pull/2547)  
However, I was pulled away and haven't made it back. I had noticed that `find` spans were sometimes missing, but hadn't gotten far into why. We do plan to support this, but I don't have a timeline.
