Hey, I was wondering if there was any guidelines as to preferred OS for ES? Are there any that are not supported? I currently run Windows Server 2008 R2 on a project I am working on and was wondering if there was any issues with using ES on it. Going to go ahead and assume, if Linux is the preferred option, would it be better to run it on a virtual machine on top my current Windows OS and it will reach better performance than being installed simply on the Windows Server?
