# Task limitations

Hello,

I am planning to push in a cluster without limits tasks in low priority that may take time from seconds to maybe sometimes minutes to finish. The number of tasks can vary without protecting it with limits. I tried to find in the document pages of the task API if that could cause any issues but didn't find anything clear about it.  
Is there a limit or any kind of protection measures that I should be careful about or I could push as much as I like tasks and leave them in the cluster pending until they finish?

I'm talking about actions by query like updates or deletes. Actions that can update the data of the indices
