# Tcp input plugin errors

[logstash.inputs.tcp] Error in Netty pipeline: java.io.IOException: Connection reset by peer

I've 3 logstahs nodes(docker containers) in our cluster and I am also seeing "Number of nodes " going up and down in the pipeline monitoring view whenever I see the error above. Alll nodes are on 6.7 version

Can someone explain what is causing this error ?
