Hi,

I wonder if there is something similar to [https://theartofpostgresql.com/](https://theartofpostgresql.com/) but for Elastic?

Cheers.

There are some books available around.

- [The definitive guide](https://www.oreilly.com/library/view/elasticsearch-the-definitive/9781449358532/) Also available [online](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/guide/current/index.html). But it's old and it has not been updated. But most of the concepts are still relevant IMO.
- [Elasticsearch in Action](https://www.manning.com/books/elasticsearch-in-action). Also old but probably a bit more recent. @dakrone @radu_gheorghe and @Roy_Russo might tell.

Not sure if there are any others...

Elastic in Action is definitely a good one, but indeed many things changed I believe.

Thanks for the nice words for Elasticsearch in Action! It's not more recent than the definitive guide, unfortunately. Though for both most of the material still applies.

We try to keep at least the indexing script up-to-date: [https://github.com/dakrone/elasticsearch-in-action](https://github.com/dakrone/elasticsearch-in-action)

I guess it means that we are waiting for the second edition! 😉
