**The first Elastic Stack 5.0 release candidate is here!**
The 5.0.0 release candidates of Elasticsearch, Logstash, Beats, Kibana, and X-Pack are now available to [download and test](https://www.elastic.co/v5)! [Learn about the releases here](https://www.elastic.co/blog/elastic-stack-release-5-0-0-rc1).
As you try out 5.0.0-rc1, be sure to open any issues in the GitHub repos for the projects (for X-Pack, post in the [X-Pack category on Discuss](https://discuss.elastic.co/c/x-pack)).
