Noticed that we are saying goodbye to types: [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/master/removal-of-types.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/master/removal-of-types.html) At first, like most of devs, we were confused about the analog, and even thought it was kinda tedious since we already had the index name. But once we discovered the cases for using it, it was so useful and it's not what one extra attribute can replace. Anyways, we respect your decision, and hope to see a better elastic search. ---

You can still create your own "types", just have a field that adds the ability to filter. This is more to ensure that indices contain data that is _not_ disparate. ---
