Hey there @jancodenew! 👋

So I wasn't able to determine why this was capped at 3 (wasn't mentioned in the docs or [original PR](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/pull/93553/files#diff-3c54e230199b07e4d2d4cda63f4513bf64b7d49a8b22d1e6d7aef7fd037236c5R224)), but I don't believe there should be any inherit system limitations that would prevent allowing additional groupings. Perhaps it was added for performance reasons?

Either way, I've opened [this enhancement request](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/122490) to enable selecting more than three `Group by` fields, so we can continue the conversation there and see if there are any limitations. 🙂

Cheers!
Garrett
