# TimeLion change legend or have tooltip

Are there any way to change timelion chart legend text or have tooltip instead(preferable because for split legend is terrible)?

You can position the legend/number of columns with the legend function, but it doesn't look like there's any way to set styles or use tooltips. This might be worth filing as a feature request on github, [https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/new](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/new).
