I have selected a proper date range in which data is present. I have configured timefield filter too. Still timelion just shows no data. In other visualizations data is present. What else I am missing?

Hi,

you should not write `.es(*)` in the query bar on top. This will filter your data for that search.

If that still does not reveal any results, could you please show your Discover view for the `trending*` index?

Cheers,
Tim

Hi. I figured out. Seems like in the mapping of time field there was a space. So when I changed
.es(index=trending\*,timefield=CPD\_DT) to .es(index=trending\*,timefield='CPD\_DT ') the data came up.

It is always a good idea to use quotes when referring to fields 🙂
