# timepicker:quickRanges ignored in Kibana 7.x?

I'm running Kibana 7.2.0 and the new time picker dropdown is now missing the timepicker:quickRanges list. I would like to know (1) why is the quickRanges not visible anymore and (2) why have the setting if it's not used?
In 6.x, we had a lot of custom ranges to match our other tools like Grafana and now the timepicker requires either manually entering the range or choosing from popular or recent. Which would be so annoying except the "popular" are not our popular and they're not in chronological order, they're just kind of random which is horrible.

The quick ranges are found right next to the date selection. Just click the calendar. You can change what shows in there based on advanced settings. See the screens below.
