# Tracking JIRA in ElasticSearch

We're looking at using ElasticSearch for realtime monitoring of JIRA tickets
(the tickets, not the log files)
From what I've read it looks like we may need to use the JDBC connector to connect directly to the JIRA MSSQL database. Has anyone had any experience with doing this?
