I found reference to creating a red/yellow/green traffic light to give a quick status check at [http://logz.io/blog/kibana-visualizations/](http://logz.io/blog/kibana-visualizations/). Is there a quick and dirty (or clean) way to have a pie chart alternate colors based on either reading one of three numbers (0,1,2) or three strings (red, yellow, green)?

Thanks,
Blake

There's no native way to do this at the moment, though there is a feature request for it here: [https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/4482](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/4482)

This _can_ be accomplished with the new "hack" plugin type, but that isn't yet available in a stable version of Kibana.
