Is there any way to place the translog directory on a different disk than the data (I know it's a child of...)?
Can it affect the time of the fsync if the translog will be located on a faster disk?

Here is some discussion on why this is not a good idea [https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/issues/15970](https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/issues/15970)
