Try without the `agent` parameter, as I believe this is deprecated. The list of available command line flags can be found [here](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/5.0/command-line-flags.html).

PMing people to get them to look at your problem is a good way to get them to ignore you. You should be patient.

The [elasticsearch output plugin](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/2.3/plugins-outputs-elasticsearch.html) has changed since 1.x and now only supports HTTP protocol. Please look at the documentation for the particular version you are using to see what parameters are supported and what they are expected to look like.

If you are connecting to a local node on port 9200, you should not need to specify `hosts` and `protocol` (deprecated) as the default values should be fine.

</div>

It is plain that you're using an old configuration guide to create your Logstash configuration. Please verify version compatibility when using outdated guides from the internet.

1. As has already been pointed out, `agent` is not necessary in the command line.

2. `sincedb_path => "/dev/null"` This path does not exist in Windows, and is probably causing errors as a result.

3. I do not see a `body` field being captured anywhere in this grok expression, so I'm not sure how it could be added to `json_body` in the `add_field` statement.

```auto
grok {
match => ['message', '(?\"id\":.*\"longitude\":\"[^"]+\")' ]
add_field => ["json_body", "{%{body}}"]
}
```

1. Because of the `json_body` issue outlined above, how can `mutate` add fields that do not exist? Or convert fields that haven't been created?
2. As pointed out already, `protocol => "http"` is not needed.

If you'd like some help getting something working here, please also attach a record sample from the file identified as `C:\logstash-2.3.4\mock_data.json`. We'll be much better able to see what you're trying to accomplish and help you to make it work.

</div>

You're going to have to work some magic on this file, then, as the JSON is in an array. That makes it a bit trickier to ingest via Logstash, as Logstash generally expects a single event per line.

I'm not sure Logstash _can_ ingest a 1,000 line array as a single JSON object, before it might exhaust some buffer.

Those are false positives. It may seem that those are the error, but those likely have nothing to do with the reason your configuration is not working, as they frequently appear anyway in windows.

Each of the `\r` characters between JSON lines is causing the error, as this is not valid JSON. The example I used and cut/pasted does not have these.

This is what I'm talking about, the `Unexpected end-of-input within/between ARRAY entries` is the `\r`
