Hi there!

I'm using a 7.12 version of Elasticsearch Stack and I'm struggling with TSVB.

I'm using the following formula : **(params.bytes \* 8) / (params.\_interval / 1000)** as shown bellow :

 ![formula](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/elastic/original/3X/0/3/0309e119d33eed4ec2e398be9b360befc6cdc54c.png)

However, when I see my area, the value change depending on the interval I choose. For example, if I take 12h interval, my "pick" of throughput seems to be near 80 Mbits/s :

 ![interval_12h](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/elastic/original/3X/2/4/2464b268df91aeb8316bbda3ffd08ed31f715a65.png)

Now, if I want to display more points (interval to 4h), the throughput rise to 160 Mbits/s :

 ![interval_4h](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/elastic/original/3X/4/2/427d1cb4869532bd901708840fc650e240848180.png)

What can I do to make the area with similar values, no matter the interval I choose?

Best regards,

---
