# UI for elasticsearch

I am looking for opensource front-end for my elasticsearch application. I tried connecting django with ES and I am facing issues with the connection.  
Looking forward for some effective solution for this issue.

hey,

can you please be a bit more specific what front-end you are searching for? Do you need a management UI or a dashboarding UI (Kibana would help you in those two cases) or do you want to build your own UI (i.e. for searching). Then [search-ui](https://github.com/elastic/search-ui) might be interesting for you.

Also, if you are facing issues with your connection and want help in debugging them, please provide error messages (from the client), check your logfiles on the elasticsearch side, provide sample code what operation you executed. Otherwise it will be nearly impossible to help you.
