Hello.

Totally new at Kibana and trying to figure out what is doable.
I am currently working to try to fix a nice Dashboard for customer support.
However, they would very much like to have a "form" to fill out with certain Query parameters that should be AND:ed together (for example customerid and a given date).

So - what I would like to do is having an input area that translates to filters in the Query bar and applies these. Is this possible? Any hints on if/how to solve this are appreciated.

[EDIT: Using Kibana 4.3.0]

There's no way to embed a form like you're suggesting. However, you can use the query bar directly to enter queries. Also, clicking on charts (depending on the chart) can create filters as well.
