# Unable to activate machine learning on my windows 10

Hi..I am using this windows 10 where I am trying to activate trial machine learning features but whenever I clicking start trial nothing happens..p.s. any help

I am getting this error on windows terminal (kibana)  
Debug: internal, implementation, error  
Error: method did not return a value, a promise, or throw an error

Hello - we would need more info about what is problematic from the Elasticsearch side of things (rather than Kibana).

Therefore, initiate the "start trial" API call ([https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/start-trial.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/start-trial.html)) using either Dev Tools Console or curl. Let us know what the response is to that API call.

Also, watch the elasticsearch.log file for any errors being reported. Post those relevant lines after the API is called here.
