# Unable to batch add lifecycle policy

Hello,  
On Index management page:

- when selecting a single index, under "Manage Index" button, I have option to "Add a lifecycle policy"
- when selecting several indexes, this option isn't proposed anymore

Can't see any reason to that... Is there a workaround except using API?
