# Unable to find the security section in management tab in kibana

I'm using latest version ELK and unable to add the role and user in security section, because in the management tab unable to find it please the below image for your reference

Hi,

The latest default version of ELK comes without security because its on a basic license. You need to goto license management in that management page, enable trial license and then enable security in your elasticsearch.yml and kibana.yml and set your Kibana/elasticsearch (also logstash) passwords if you need them.
