# Unable to Install Marvel on ES 6.6.2

I tried installing Marvel on ES 6.6.2 both the ways Online & Offline but could not succeed.  
Please find below logs for offline installation.

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Unknown properties in plugin descriptor: [jvm, site, isolated]  
at org.elasticsearch.plugins.PluginInfo.readFromProperties(PluginInfo.java:239)  
at org.elasticsearch.plugins.InstallPluginCommand.loadPluginInfo(InstallPluginCommand.java:714)

Online, download gives below error.

A tool for managing installed elasticsearch plugins

## Commands

list - Lists installed elasticsearch plugins  
install - Install a plugin  
remove - removes a plugin from Elasticsearch

Non-option arguments:  
command

Option Description

* * *

-h, --help show help  
-s, --silent show minimal output  
-v, --verbose show verbose output  
ERROR: Unknown plugin elasticsearch/marvel/latest

Any help will be really appreciated.

Marvel has been replaced by X-Pack monitoring and is not compatible with any recent versions. It has actually been deprecated quite a long time.
