I need to remove elastalert information from /var/log/messages, and I'm having trouble creating a log file for elastalert.

the default configuration in config.yaml doesn't work and i'm not getting it through the /etc/rsyslog.conf rules either

any suggestion?

Hi @Sansao, welcome to the Elastic Community!

[Elastialert](https://github.com/Yelp/elastalert) is developed by Yelp, not Elastic. You might have more luck asking in the project's support forums.

It might be interesting for you to know that Elastic offers [an alerting solution](https://www.elastic.co/what-is/elasticsearch-alerting) that might cover your use case.

Regards,
Alejandro
