# Unable to pull from docker registry due to authentication error

$ docker pull [docker.elastic.co/elasticsearch/elasticsearch:latest](http://docker.elastic.co/elasticsearch/elasticsearch:latest)  
Error response from daemon: unauthorized: authentication required

Start happening around 8:30am PDT. Nothing reported on [https://cloud-status.elastic.co/](https://cloud-status.elastic.co/) and there doesn't appear to be a more specific forum category to post this.
