# Unable to read log file on windows using file input

On windows instance I have setup logstash 1.5 to read apache log files using the file input plugin, when I start the logstash instance it goes and globs all the files and throws this error

{:timestamp=\>"2015-06-05T19:03:17.048000-0400", :message=\>"(warn supressed) failed to open D://Apache/logs/access.log.1433289600: cannot link Java class RubyFileExt", :level=\>:debug, :file=\>"/Software/logstash-1.5.0/vendor/bundle/jruby/1.9/gems/filewatch-0.6.2/lib/filewatch/tail.rb", :line=\>"134", :method=\>"\_open\_file"}

Here's my file input config,

file {  
type =\> "apache\_access"  
path =\> "D:/Apache/logs/access._"  
exclude =\> ["_.gz", "_.zip", "_.tar", "httpd.pid", "deflate.log", "error.\*"]  
start\_position =\> end  
sincedb\_path =\> "E:/Software/logstash-1.5.0/bin/sincedb\_access"  
stat\_interval =\> 5  
sincedb\_write\_interval =\> 5  
}  
}

is this because the file is locked? or something else is wrong ?
