# Unable to start Elasticsearch 6.1.1 while configuring lang-groovy plugin

I am not sure the groovy plugin is compatible with Elasticsearch 6.x given that [support for Groovy has been removed](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/6.x/breaking_60_scripting_changes.html#_groovy_javascript_and_python_languages_removed).

I am getting this error------

it seems that version of lang-groovy and elasticsearch should be same,but the lang-groovy 6.x is not avialable,what should I do to use the script in Elasticseach 6.x?
