# Unable to start filebeat

Downloaded filebeat to Linux machine. Kernel version of the machine is "2.6.18-238.5.1.el5".  
I get error as below.  
ksh\> ./filebeat  
Memory fault

Please suggest

That's a very old kernel. What OS, what version?

Below is the OS version.  
ksh\> cat /etc/redhat-release  
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.6 (Tikanga)

Seems to be related to the old kernel. The go runtime does not really support older kernels used in Red Hat/Centos 5 releases, due to missing features in these kernels.
