# Undefined class constant 'MAJOR\_VERSION

Hi  
Geek Elasticsearch component is showing the Undefined class constant 'MAJOR\_VERSION' error in Elasticsearch version 6.x . Can you help why it is showing this error?

It's not really clear what you are asking here. What is "Geek Elasticsearch"? Please also note that version 6.X is [EOL](https://www.elastic.co/support/eol) and no longer supported, you should be looking to upgrade as a matter of urgency.

Thanks, you might need to ask whoever owns this product, as this seems to be an error from it and not Elasticsearch.
