Hey,

did anything like this not work as you expected?

curl -X PUT localhost:9200/tweets/

curl -X PUT localhost:9200/tweets/tweet/\_mapping -d '{
"tweet" : {
"\_meta" : {
"attr1" : "value1",
"attr2" : {
"attr3" : "value3"
}
}
}
}
'

curl -X GET localhost:9200/tweets/tweet/\_mapping

curl -X PUT localhost:9200/tweets/tweet/\_mapping -d '{
"tweet" : {
"\_meta" : {
"attr1" : "value1",
"attr2" : {
"attr4" : "value4"
}
}
}
}
'

curl -X GET localhost:9200/tweets/tweet/\_mapping
