# Update.js calls a method on an object named client?

Can someone from the team explain why the route for saved\_objects calls a method on an object that is named savedObjectsClient. This happens in the update.js file. Is this object used for both client and server?

Nevermind, I just realized it's named the same as another object that lives in the ui directory.
