# Updating Logstash Keystore Key-Values Externally

Hi,

I wanted to know that if there is any option to update the existing key-value pair in the Logstash keystore externally. I am storing 'username' and 'password' fields in this keystore manually for now. But, I want to update the password programmatically by using external script.

Do let me know if this is possible.
