Hello,

We currently have an ES cluster in production using version 0.16.4.
We'd like to upgrade to 0.17.8. Is there anything in particular we need
to know ahead of time, or is it just a simple drop-in of the new
binaries (etc) as usual?

Thank you.

I've just done a 0.16.5 to 0.17.8, and it was fine.

Except: if you are using bool filters, then you may get errors. There
is a bug that is fixed in master.

Hi Clinton,

do you have the issue number of this bug ?

Thanks,
Ludo

Also, I think that if you use java API, some package refactoring [1] has been done and is no more compatible with 0.16.4.
That was my only "problem" with that version.
