I need to upgrade an ELK system from 5.6.2 to 6.8.8. My plan is to upgrade before ES through a rolling upgrade and Kibana and later to upgrade logstash. Will logstash 5.6 work normally with ES 6.8.8 ? ---

Hello @andreacfm Yes, according to the support matrix you can use LS 5.6 with ES 6.8.8. See [https://www.elastic.co/support/matrix#matrix\_compatibility](https://www.elastic.co/support/matrix#matrix_compatibility) Still, you should not face many issues migrating Logstash too to 6.8.8. Please refer to [our documentation for the upgrade](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elastic-stack/6.8/upgrading-elastic-stack.html). Also ensure to use the upgrade assistant in Kibana which can help to detect issues prior the upgrade. ---
