# Upgrade Elastic Search from 1.7.2 to 2.4.6 not happening

Hi team,

When we are trying to upgrade Elastic Search from 1.7.2 to [2.4.6.It](http://2.4.6.It) was saying provision in progress and after if we check it still in old version (1.7.2).We’ve tried 3-4 times till now and waited for a long time even.But it’s not going for updated version.Can you please help and let us know why this is not happening and any solution.
