Hi,

I finally upgraded one of my nodes but the status doesnt get green. On the upgrade node I have the following message in my log.

```auto
2018-08-17T08:28:18,323][INFO][o.e.x.m.e.l.LocalExporter] waiting for elected master node [{XXXXX}{Pc7px6a1TIS5Im2FMTcG-w}{wsNJlet4RMuG6OgMQMcRwA}{x.x.x.x}{x.x.x.x:9300}] to setup local exporter [default_local] (does it have x-pack installed?)
```

On the one, which isn't upgraded, I get this:

```auto
[2018-08-17T08:17:21,148][INFO][o.e.c.s.ClusterService] [XXXXXX] added {{XXXXXX}{lL6ZZh_pS4GR68dUBCyr3w}{LS8Ydr4nQuW25OmLE5xc0Q}{x.x.x.x}{x.x.x.x:9300}{ml.machine_memory=8393883648, ml.max_open_jobs=20, xpack.installed=true, ml.enabled=true},}, reason: zen-disco-node-join[{XXXXXX}{lL6ZZh_pS4GR68dUBCyr3w}{LS8Ydr4nQuW25OmLE5xc0Q}{x.x.x.x}{x.x.x.x:9300}{ml.machine_memory=8393883648, ml.max_open_jobs=20, xpack.installed=true, ml.enabled=true}]
[2018-08-17T08:17:23,728][WARN][o.e.d.z.ElectMasterService] [XXXXXX] value for setting "discovery.zen.minimum_master_nodes" is too low. This can result in data loss! Please set it to at least a quorum of master-eligible nodes (current value: [1], total number of master-eligible nodes used for publishing in this round: [2])
```

I don't have X-Pack installed on any of those machines.

The first log entry is just an INFO statement informing you that the master hasn't got x-pack installed, the second is a warning that you have set the **discovery.zen.minimum\_master\_nodes** too low for the current cluster setup.

Just upgrade the other node and set the **discovery.zen.minimum\_master\_nodes** to N/2 +1 where N is the number of master eligible nodes in your cluster. Then all should be fine.
