Hi,

Is this any risk if we upgrading elasticsearch from 1.3.7 to 7.3.2 using **Reindex API**

You will need to update/create mappings/index templates before using [reindex from remote](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/reindex-upgrade-remote.html) to copy data from the 1.3.7 cluster to the 7.3.2 one. Am not sure it will work against such an old version but it is worth trying.

I have never tried upgrading with such a gap in versions and know nothing about your use case, so it is hard to tell. You basically need to reindex your data into a new one from the old one. Depending on which features you use the change to mappings and index templates may range from reasonably simple to quite complex.
