# Upgrading to logstash 6.2

Hello  
I am trying to upgrade to logstash 6.2 but i am getting this error  
C:\Users\gagarwal3\Downloads\logstash-6.2.0\logstash-6.2.0\bin\>logstash  
"could not find jruby in C:\Users\gagarwal3\Downloads\logstash-6.2.0\logstash-6.2.0\vendor\jruby"  
please let me know how to do it.

That is odd. I just tested a fresh install of 6.2.1 on Windows 10, and all seemed well. Can you try a fresh download and unzip ?

I was able to do it later.  
The reason for this was that because I am doing my installations on windows the plugins should be installed at the time of installation only and not through commands later.
