# Upload CSV to Kibana 6.2.4

Our team uses Kibana 6.2.4 and I am attempting to upload log files that were provided to me in a CSV. I read one article that says that if I want to visualize the data in the CSV, I just needed to go to "Visualise" and drag and drop the file, but when I did that, nothing happened. Can anyone help me with this?

Hi,
The file visualizer tool was introduced in version 6.5, so you wouldn't have access to it in 6.2 version. (You can read more about how to do it [here](https://www.elastic.co/blog/importing-csv-and-log-data-into-elasticsearch-with-file-data-visualizer)). If upgrading to 6.5 is not an option for you, you'll need to import CSV data into Elasticsearch. You can do that using Logstash.
